So What Is It?

Evolution is an Audio Processing System which allows it's users to apply a range of audio effects to sound samples. These audio effects, represented as modules, can be arranged into a freeform network, which provides the possibility for the user to create whatever sound they want.

Who Is It For?

Evolution was designed with musicians in mind, with a very simple, easy-to-understand interface, which allows sound samples to be modified very quickly and easily. However, Evolution is a tool which could prove useful for anyone who is working with sound on their PC.

What Is Needed To Run Evolution?

A multimedia PC with Windows 95/98/NT. Recommended specification of PC is Intel Pentium 2/AMD K6-2 300Mhz, with 64 megabytes of memory.

Installation Instructions

This program does not require any special installation - simply copy it to a directory on your hard disk and run it. However, it does require mfc42.dll to be in the windows\system directory. This file is supplied, but it is usually already present on most PC's.
